Winter Coaching:
Erging: During the winter months, our rowing club shifts focus to the ergometers. Coaches lead intense sessions designed to boost endurance and technique. This focused erging work sets the stage for a strong performance when we return to the water in the spring.
Erging sessions are offered on weeknights.
Strength Training: In parallel, strength training is crucial for winter conditioning. Rowers tackle exercises aimed at enhancing core stability, leg power, and upper body strength. Coaches ensure that workouts are tailored to individual needs, helping athletes build the physical foundation necessary for peak performance.
Strength training is offered on Sunday mornings.
